Job Summary
Troubleshoot maintenance and electrical issues on steel fabrication equipment including saws, punches, presses, welding equipment, robot weld lines, and painting and coating equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) and maintain knowledge of 480 VAC motor controls, AC crane systems, AC drives, DC motors, and PLCs for mill troubleshooting. Must be able to weld and read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and maintaining cranes and hoists is required. Any other duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with maintaining cranes and hoists
- Must know 480 VAC motor controls
- AC crane knowledge
- Ac Drive/ DC Motor knowledge
- PLC knowledge
- Must be able to weld
- Must be able to read Electrical Schematics/Mechanical drawings
