Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day maintenance for the apartment community, performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs while adhering to safety procedures and building codes. Execute service requests and scheduled preventative maintenance, managing inventory and organizing parts to ensure efficient work completion. Provide on-call support for evenings, weekends, and holidays, retrieving trash and reporting safety concerns to maintain a high-quality living environment.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- EMT certification
- Knowledge of First Aid and Safety procedures
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to create and close out work orders
- Previous building/apartment related maintenance experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be available to work over-time as needed
- Must be available to work on-call schedule
- Must be flexible with availability depending on the needs of the property
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate power tools
- Ability to occasionally drive during the course of work
