Job Summary
Install and configure electrical and mechanical components of industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems. Perform maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns, ensuring optimal performance through lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacement. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues while following all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to comply with company policies and industry regulations. Collaborate with team members and departments to minimize downtime in our Egg Processing/Packaging plants. This role supports growth across Manheim, Mount Joy, and Middletown locations with a 40+ hour schedule, four 10-hour days, and rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems
- 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience including areas of mechanical/electrical, general maintenance, robotics, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic work
- Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 40+ hours per week, 4 (10 hour) days per week, and rotating every 3rd weekend
