Maintenance Tech III (Weekend Nights) (Shift 4)

Job Summary
Identify and repair mechanical, minor electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration defects while coordinating the daily workload for the Maintenance Shift Team. Complete scheduled preventative maintenance to eliminate unplanned downtime and participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures. Mentor junior technicians, train operators on maintenance techniques, and lead layout and installation of piping for water, gas, and pneumatics. Document all work activity within the CMMS Emaint System and utilize continuous improvement tools to create Standard Operating Procedures and One Point Lessons. Requires fundamental understanding of schematics, MIG/TIG/SMAW welding ability, and experience with Fanuc and ABB Robotics. Flexible schedule required with weekend nights and overtime availability.
Required Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair semi complex mechanical machinery to include pumps, fans, ovens, control valves, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with Fanuc, ABB Robotics troubleshooting and adjustments
- MIG / TIG / SMAW Welding Ability
- Ability to Lead layout and installation of piping for water, gas, and pneumatics
- Own tools (Required Tool List will be provided)
- Flexible schedule
- Willingness to work overtime including weekends if necessary
- Experience with Rigging and lifting of mechanical equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills
- Understanding of Quality Systems and familiarity with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices
