Maintenance Tech III (Weekend Nights) (Shift 4)

Job Summary
Identify and repair mechanical, minor electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration defects while prioritizing daily workload and completing scheduled preventive maintenance to eliminate unplanned downtime. Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures, mentor junior technicians, and train operators on maintenance techniques. Troubleshoot and rebuild machinery including pumps, fans, and ovens, with specific experience in Fanuc and ABB robotics, MIG/TIG/SMAW welding, and piping layout. Document all activities in the CMMS Emaint System and contribute to continuous improvement by creating standard operating procedures and one-point lessons. Maintain familiarity with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices. Shift runs 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM Thursday through Sunday with overtime and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair semi complex mechanical machinery to include pumps, fans, ovens, control valves, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with Fanuc, ABB Robotics troubleshooting and adjustments
- MIG / TIG / SMAW Welding Ability
- Ability to Lead layout and installation of piping for water, gas, and pneumatics
- Own tools
- Flexible schedule
- Willingness to work overtime including weekends if necessary
- Experience with Rigging and lifting of mechanical equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills
- Understanding of Quality Systems and familiarity with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices
