Job Summary
Repair and maintain all recycling facility equipment, including heavy mobile equipment, conveyors, ballers, and shredders, while installing new units and performing preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and fix systems involving hydraulics, electronics, and mechanical repairs on Sennebogen and Caterpillar machine handlers, completing work orders with detailed notes. Source parts using computers and research equipment replacements. Work in multiple positions including kneeling, bending, and elevated lifts for extended durations, adhering to all safety requirements. Requires 3–5 years of industrial troubleshooting experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of verifiable experience related to industrial troubleshooting, maintenance and repair experience on heavy equipment or in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- Must have your own basic hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Valid State Driver's License
- Ability to work various shifts if needed
