Job Summary
Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on extruders, presses, slitters, and robots to ensure safe production operation. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic breakdowns using schematics, laptops, and multimeters to replace drives, PLCs, and components. Execute precision setups, lubrication, and part replacements while maintaining pneumatics and hydraulic systems. Document all repair activities in SAP and lead root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Work a night shift at Sealed Air's manufacturing facility, troubleshooting complex equipment failures and supporting safety teams.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Relevant Military training or work experience
- 3 - 5 years relevant industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp on ammeters, meggers and process calibrators
- Proficient in the servicing and maintenance of 480VAC, 3-phase power systems used to power motors, electrical cabinets etc
- Basic understanding of machining processes such as lathe, milling, surface grinding, gear and keyway cutting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and ability to use general machinist
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems
- Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of MS Office applications and SAP transactions experience
