Job Summary
Repair and maintain all recycling facility equipment, including heavy mobile units, conveyors, ballers, and shredders, while installing new machinery and performing preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot systems involving hydraulics, electronics, and mechanical repairs on Sennebogen and Caterpillar machine handlers, then complete work orders with detailed notes. Source parts using computers and research equipment replacements independently. Work in multiple positions requiring kneeling, bending, and elevated lifts for extended durations while observing all safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of verifiable experience related to industrial troubleshooting, maintenance and repair experience on heavy equipment or in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- Must have your own basic hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Valid State Driver's License
- Ability to work various shifts if needed
