Job Summary
Maintenance Tech III responsible for repairing and maintaining all recycling facility equipment (heavy mobile equipment, conveyors, ballers, shredders), installing new equipment, and performing preventive maintenance. Duties include troubleshooting and repairing heavy industrial equipment, maintaining Sennebogen and Caterpillar machine handlers, repairing hydraulics, electrical/electrical systems, mechanical systems, basic fabrication, completing work orders with detailed notes, sourcing replacement parts using computers, and ensuring safety. Must be able to work various shifts, use hand tools, lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds, and operate in a non-climate-controlled production facility; must uphold safety and integrity, and provide constructive feedback as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years verifiable industrial troubleshooting, maintenance and repair experience on heavy equipment or in heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to perform arithmetic operations in all units of measure
- Valid State Driver’s License
