Maintenance Tech III

Maintenance Technician III responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, inspecting and maintaining plastic injection molding machines and related systems, and supporting safety and quality standards. Duties include diagnosing electro-mechanical and instrumentation equipment, assembling prototype circuits per engineering instructions, performing preventive maintenance, logging usage and parts, identifying root causes of downtime and scrap, calibrating and aligning circuitry, evaluating system performance under operating conditions, and assisting in training new hires. Requires basic Excel skills, IML setup/troubleshooting, heat transfer machine knowledge, understanding of electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, familiarity with GMP/PRP/HACCP in food-contact packaging, and independent work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Education and experience: HS diploma or GED required; technical 2-year degree or equivalent preferred; minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience; 2 years related electronics preferred. Physical ability to lift 25–50 pounds frequently and work in PPE in a manufacturing setting.
