Job Summary
Maintenance Technician III responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery, facility equipment, and physical structures according to safety and preventive maintenance systems. Develop work instructions to support a preventive maintenance program. Use a variety of hand and power tools and electric multimeters; perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors; manage parts inventory and purchasing. Train maintenance staff and operators; schedule preventive and unscheduled maintenance; assess equipment needs with management. Visually inspect, diagnose, and repair faults; patch or repair building elements (plaster/paint). May require use of a personal vehicle for work assignments. Location is onsite in Westminster, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of hand tools
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals
- Demonstrated ability in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
- Coordinate services from outside vendors and contractors
- Purchasing parts and maintaining inventory
- Assist in training maintenance staff and operators
- Schedule maintenance for preventive and unscheduled jobs
- Visually inspect equipment to locate malfunctions
- Possible use of personal vehicle for work assignments (as needed)
