Job Summary

Perform preventive maintenance, routine servicing, and emergency repairs on building equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. Execute service calls, complete apartment turnovers with minor repairs and painting, and maintain pools, koi ponds, and water features. Assist with HVAC systems, install grab bars, and instruct residents on thermostat use while providing excellent customer service. Work independently and in teams under supervisor direction, adhering to safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Requires one week of on-call duty. Full-time onsite position in Woodland Hills, California.

Required Qualifications

High school graduate
Minimum of three to five years of previous work experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, and other general maintenance duties in a complex commercial, industrial or healthcare setting
Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and schematics
Basic understanding of HVAC thermostats
Ability to operate various hand and power tools and machines to discharge duties
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic
Must have a passion for excellent customer service
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team with the entire Plant Operations Department and be self-motivated
