Job Summary

Troubleshoot, repair, and install low and high voltage industrial electromechanical and control systems for utility and production equipment. Perform both uptime and downtime preventative maintenance while executing corrective work orders independently. Install, wire, and maintain relays, photo-eyes, limit switches, motors, starters, VFDs, PLC I/O modules, and safety circuits. Design circuit layouts, install fixtures and wiring conduits, and assist with system startups including configuration, wiring, calibration, and power testing. Read and interpret electrical prints and schematics to locate I/O points, write procedures and work orders, and maintain repair records. Adhere to safety programs, support the Lock-Out/Tag-Out program, and ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and sanitation standards. Train new and junior employees within the department.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be willing to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Must be willing to work overtime if necessary
  • Must be able to read and write in English or Spanish
  • Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification
  • Must be able to maintain high level of awareness and follow best practices for GMP, Safety, and Sanitation
  • Must provide own basic tools
