Job Summary

Troubleshoot, repair, and install low and high voltage industrial electromechanical and control systems for utility and production equipment. Perform both uptime and downtime preventative maintenance in adherence to the master PM schedule while independently finding and fixing problems. Wire, maintain relays, photo-eyes, limit switches, motors, and PLC I/O modules; design circuits, install fixtures, and assist with system startups including configuration, wiring, and calibration. Write procedures, work instructions, and maintain repair records. Adhere to all safety programs, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out, and ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and sanitation standards. Train new and junior employees within the department.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be willing to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Must be willing to work overtime if necessary
  • Must be able to read and write in English or Spanish
  • Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification
  • Must be able to maintain high level of awareness and follow best practices for GMP, Safety, and Sanitation
  • Must provide own basic tools
  • Must be able to read, interpret and modify electrical prints and schematics and document all self-created changes
  • Complete understanding of Plant electrical systems, including DC Voltage and AC Voltage 24 V to 480 V and proficiency in electrical installations with conduit and wiring practices
