Job Summary
Conduct advanced maintenance and repair on all Center facilities, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, structural, and metal fabricating tasks while excluding HVAC and refrigeration. Perform diagnostics on building systems, assist in REAC, HUD, HOME, and HQS inspections, and create schedules for auxiliary system checks like roofs and fencing. Source vendor items for best value, manage company tool inventory, and respond to emergency on-call rotations after hours and on weekends. Assist with material pickups for outlying sites and maintain company-owned equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School/ GED
- Must have at least 5 years directly related experience; or equivalent combination of 5 years trade school, professional experience or college level course work in electrical wiring, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry or another trade\construction related field
- Required to maintain a valid and current Arizona driver's license and pass motor vehicle screening for insurance purposes
- Must have fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to obtain upon hire
- Will be required to respond to on-call for emergency situations after hours and on weekends
- SB&H is a drug-free workplace, drug screening required
