Job Summary
Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on injection molding machines and automation equipment while diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. Perform component installation on conveyors, compressors, and chillers, and analyze Allen Bradley controllers by reading ladder diagrams and schematics. Troubleshoot process breakdowns, make necessary adjustments, and notify supervisors for spare parts orders. Adhere to safety protocols, GMP, and FDA requirements, including daily safety meetings and hazard reporting. Work an afternoon shift at a climate-controlled manufacturing plant with a $32 hourly rate plus $1 shift premium. Requires high school diploma, five years of injection molding experience, and proficiency with PLCs and Infinity software.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Industrial experience with injection molding machines of 5+ years' experience
- Experience working as a maintenance mechanic in a production environment
- Troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns
- Mechanical competencies
- Electrical competencies
- PLC
- Ability to safety use hand tools
- Ability to safety use small power tools
- Ability to navigate internal PM repair software program
- Ability to read electrical ladder diagrams
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics
- Fork truck certification
- Man lift certification
