Job Summary
Perform a wide range of repair tasks using hand and power tools with minimal supervision, completing general carpentry, painting, and cosmetic container fixes. Safely operate forklifts and standard shop equipment while rigging materials and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment. Assist with staging and organization using hand carts, following technical guidance while exercising sound judgment. This role involves standing, walking, and lifting items up to 60 lbs in a non-climate controlled facility, with a flexible schedule that may include Saturdays and overtime. Competitive pay of $16.00-$17.00/hour plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in construction, building trades, assembly work, or a related hands-on field
- Proven experience using hand and power tools independently
- Ability to read and understand English in compliance with OSHA safety requirements
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to become forklift certified and safely operate material-handling equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- A safety-first mindset and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Solid work ethic—regular attendance and punctuality are essential
- Working a flexible schedule that may include Saturdays and overtime when the business is booming
