Job Summary
Maintenance Tech II at In-N-Out Burger's Chino production facility performing preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment, including PLC troubleshooting, electrical repairs and installations, VFDs, plumbing, welding, and fabrication. Responsible for maintaining building and equipment, logging work in CMMS, and ensuring GMP compliance and safety. Requires 3-5 years of experience in a meat-processing or food environment, solid knowledge of controls and electrical troubleshooting (24vac–480vac), experience with AB Powerflex VFDs and Siemens/Allen Bradley PLCs, pneumatics/hydraulics, reading schematics, and TIG welding/fabrication. Must be able to lift 70 lbs and work a night shift with required overtime and weekend/holiday availability.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience within a food environment, preferably in meat processing
- Solid foundation of Controls, Relays, Photo eyes, and Electrical Troubleshooting (24vac/vdc to 480vac)
- Experience with 3-phase motors, AB Powerflex VFDs, Metal Detectors, Van der Graaf conveyor systems, Servo Motors & Drives
- Basic knowledge of Allen Bradley & Siemens PLCs
- Experience in Pneumatic and Hydraulics systems
- Experience in reading Schematics
- TIG Welding & Fabrication is a plus
- Basic knowledge of air compressors, boilers and water softeners
- Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs
- Cold working conditions - temperatures as low as 34F
- Ability to move around in meat production environment
