Job Summary
Maintenance Tech II at Grand Pacific Resorts with a focus on advanced troubleshooting and complex repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance systems. Responsible for supervising and guiding junior team members, utilizing CMMS for work orders, maintaining maintenance inventory, and ensuring safety compliance (OSHA standards). Engages with resort guests to triage facilities issues and validates work quality to guest expectations. Requires hospitality maintenance experience, ability to train others, OSHA 10, EPA Universal, and CPO certifications, plus on-call availability and Spanish preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to regional locations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of demonstrated maintenance experience in hospitality, building maintenance, or related trades
- OSHA 10 certification
- EPA Universal Certification (for handling refrigerants)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
- Ability to speak and understand English; Spanish language skills preferred
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to regional locations for work
- Availability for regular on-call work assignments, work scheduled off-hours, and emergency overtime as required
- Successful completion of applicable auditions or skill testing, background check, and drug screening
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours; lift up to 50 pounds; operate in varied temperatures/environments
