Job Summary
Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions while adhering to preventative maintenance schedules and responding to resident and staff requests. Perform electrical, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, and landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, and grounds care. Construct, repair, and maintain structures using hand and power tools, ensuring storage areas remain clean and orderly. Participate in safety, fire control, and security matters related to Life and Safety Codes, while assisting with vehicle maintenance and inventory management. Requires a high school diploma, two years of healthcare setting experience, and refrigeration certification. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Formal education in a trade related field such as HVAC, Electrical Installation and Maintenance
- A minimum of five years experience as a maintenance technician
- A minimum of two years experience in the health care setting
- Have or have the ability to receive training and be certified by the State of Refrigeration Examiners for the use and proper handling of refrigerants
- Valid driver's license
