Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II responsible for handling more complex maintenance tasks across multiple properties, including diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems. Provides leadership by mentoring Technician I staff, overseeing turnovers, and managing preventative maintenance programs. Conducts detailed unit turnovers, maintains accurate logs, participates in on-call rotations, travels between properties for advanced support, and assists with larger projects such as system upgrades or capital improvements. Requires a HS diploma or equivalent (HVAC/EPA 608 certifications preferred) and 3–5+ years of residential or facilities maintenance experience; valid driver’s license and hand tools needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, EPA 608) strongly preferred
- 3–5+ years of residential or facilities maintenance experience
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience training and mentoring junior staff
- Must provide and maintain personal hand tools
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
