Job Summary
Maintain buildings, grounds, and satellite offices including Avow Treasure stores by performing routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and janitorial duties. Inspect and repair HVAC units, mechanical, electrical, and safety systems while adhering to service, quality, and safety standards. Install, inspect, and perform preventative maintenance on waste management systems, assist with projects like drywall and carpentry, and utilize the CMMS work order system to log activities. Address repairs to buildings and campus as needed, insert bricks into the courtyard, and move furniture for office moves or special events. Work on-call as scheduled to ensure building operations meet service standards and comply with all laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience with intermediate knowledge of general building repairs, lawn maintenance, minor electrical duties, painting and other repairperson type duties
- Knowledge of plumbing
- Knowledge of refrigerants
- Knowledge of carpentry
- Knowledge of electrical
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Crowd Control Manager within 90 days of employment or next available opportunity
- Knowledge of basic typing skills, data entry and word processing software
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
