Maintenance Tech II

Maintenance Technician II operates and maintains equipment and facilities at an apartment community, including maintenance of individual units. Responsibilities include timely and quality maintenance, inventory control, member satisfaction, safety, and program documentation. The role focuses on achieving NOI, occupancy, repair-ticket and unit-repair resolutions, staff safety, and customer service response time to maximize property performance. Essential duties include maintenance and preventative work orders, electrical/plumbing/carpentry tasks, inventory tracking, vendor supervision, after-hours on-call coverage, and assisting with HUD/CHFA inspections. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Yardi Property Management software is preferred; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. High school diploma or GED and 2 years related experience required; valid driver’s license and auto insurance needed. Candidate should demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with attention to safety and quality workmanship.
