Job Summary
Perform facility and building maintenance including plumbing, mechanical work, facility painting, landscaping, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventive and predictive facility maintenance. Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as welding robots, fabrication equipment, hoists, lift tables, cranes, and paint booths. Dismantle machinery and replace defective parts, log all service work and downtime, and follow lock-out and tag-out procedures to ensure safe work practices. Troubleshoot, program, and edit programmable logic controllers while operating cranes, hoists, and forklifts. Maintain Lean and 5S functions and comply with health and safety guidelines. Requires 3+ years of industrial and facility maintenance experience, familiarity with safety standards, and ability to complete company safety training.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience of industrial and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining industrial equipment
- 1+ years of electrical or mechanical trades training
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
- Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment
- Ability to complete company safety training related to electrical safety
- Ability to use of aerial lifts and lift trucks
- Working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Ability to identify issues and repairs that are needed
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance
- Electrical experience
