Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment, adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols while documenting work in the asset management system. Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects safely and on time. This role requires expertise in PLCs, conveyors, three-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing, along with the ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics. Candidates must possess an associate's degree or vocational certificate in mechanical or electrical applications, three to five years of experience, and welding skills. The position involves a Tuesday through Friday shift from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
