Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within distribution centers safely and on time. Perform duties related to PLCs, conveyors, three-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing as needed to support operational needs. Requires a two-year vocational certificate or associate's degree, three to five years of experience, and proficiency in welding, cutting, and reading electrical schematics. Shift runs Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
