Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment and conveyance systems, adhering to OSHA safety standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership. Assist in training junior technicians while collaborating with outside vendors to complete projects within distribution centers safely and timely. Shift is Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 per hour shift differential. Candidates must possess an associate's degree or vocational certificate in mechanical or electrical applications with three to five years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
