Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment related to conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO procedures. Document all work in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage. Train junior technicians on troubleshooting and repair techniques to elevate team performance. Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within the distribution centers safely and on time. Perform additional duties as needed to support daily operational requirements. Shifts run Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
