Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility and conveyance equipment while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Document work performed in the asset management system and accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage. Assist in training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects within distribution centers safely and timely. Maintain expertise in PLCs, conveyors, three-phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and specialized DC software. Read electrical and mechanical building drawings and schematics to support operational needs. Perform duties requiring the ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
