Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment including PLCs, conveyors, and hydraulic systems while adhering to OSHA standards and LOTO protocols. Accurately report spare parts inventory and daily usage to leadership, documenting all work performed in the asset management system. Assist in training junior technicians and collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects safely within distribution centers. Perform additional duties as needed to support daily operational needs. Requires 3-5 years of experience with welding, cutting, and knowledge of electrical and mechanical schematics. Shift runs Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at a rate of $29.55 plus $1 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
- 3-5 years of experience
- Welding, burning, cutting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
- Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
- Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
- Good safety awareness
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
