Job Summary
Maintenance Tech II in Temecula, CA responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment in a manufacturing plant. Requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, ability to train lower-skilled technicians, perform preventative maintenance, document work orders and Proteus entries, and coordinate with outside contractors. Must follow safety policies (OSHA), work the 5am–1:45pm shift, and communicate effectively with maintenance staff and supervisor. Emphasis on accuracy in documentation and ability to work independently while ensuring proper part inventories and adherence to maintenance procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
- Technical or Trade school degree preferred, or a High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years of related experience
- Basic understanding of industrial electricity
- Working knowledge of energy sources for utility equipment (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic)
- PLC experience a plus
- Ability to maintain plant utilities (lighting, water systems, drains)
- Ability to work independently when directed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of schematics/blueprints
- Familiar with Proteus procedures and maintenance requirements
- OSHA and company regulation compliance
