Job Summary
Maintenance Tech I performs general maintenance and routine inspections of resort facilities, including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance repair, and HVAC with little supervision. Uses CMMS to create and close work orders with data (labor hours, downtime, cause/remedy, and parts used); communicates with resort guests to triage facilities issues and ensure quality—adhering to OSHA and resort safety programs. Requires on-call availability, various shifts including weekends/holidays, and has avenues for training and career progression through mentoring. Requires at least one year of related maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license; on-site role with duties spanning maintenance shop, guest rooms, common areas, and equipment rooms.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of maintenance experience in hospitality, building maintenance, or related trade
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Availability for regular on-call work assignments, off-hours, and emergency overtime
- Successful completion of applicable auditions or skill testing, background check, physical examination, and drug screening
- Ability to speak and understand English; fluency in Spanish preferred
- Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related functions
