Job Summary
Make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment while installing light fixtures and conducting scheduled inspections. Monitor and secure the building by activating security systems, repairing locks, and maintaining keys. Ensure hazardous materials are stored properly and all reporting is accurate. Collaborate within a diverse team to minimize downtime across kitchen, laundry, and guest rooms. This role requires standing or sitting for eight hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing ladders. Accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one year's trade-related and/or training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance
- Must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours at a time
- Must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools
