Job Summary
Assist with repairs, refurbishing projects including trim carpentry, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, and light electrical work. Maintain facility grounds, coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing staff in resident living areas, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections. Report equipment malfunctions to your supervisor immediately and ensure all equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift. Replenish maintenance supplies as necessary and assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/equivalent
- Able to work independently as required
- Ability to be part of a team
- Detail oriented
- Excellent customer service skills
- Communication skills
- Time management skills
- Able to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
- Level 2 background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' experience as a building trade helper, apprentice or equivalent
