Job Summary
Maintain and repair building systems and fixtures across the apartment complex, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and window/door repairs. Perform minor repairs, troubleshoot appliance issues, and carry out make-ready maintenance for vacant units. Operate with a routine preventive maintenance schedule, inspect for safety hazards, and respond to resident work orders. Travel to suppliers to pick up parcels and supplies and provide customer service in the course of duties. Requires EPA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to supervise a maintenance team; on-call rotation and physical/mobile work capabilities are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- EPA certification
- Minimum three years’ experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair
- Minimum three years experience supervising a maintenance team
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to travel to multiple sites and perform on-site maintenance
