Job Summary
Maintenance Tech I performs preventive maintenance and repair of conveyors, automation, robotics, and facility systems; troubleshoot downtime, document maintenance in CMMS, and maintain logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC, and other tested systems; conduct root-cause analysis of major downtime events; assist two-person projects or when required; perform facility/building project work (lighting, carpentry, plumbing, etc.); analyze production delays and verify corrective actions; travel up to 10% for business; willingness to work overtime and on-call; requires high school diploma and 3 years’ experience with relevant equipment; forklift operation is required; familiarity with PLC logic, ladder logic, and basic computer software (Excel) beneficial; safety procedures such as Lock Out/Tag Out and PPE must be followed; position may involve working in a large facility and reading drawings; opportunity for growth within Medline.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance
- Experience with wastewater systems
- Forklift experience
- Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment
- Basic skill in multiple computer software packages including Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with inputs, outputs, and PLC logic systems and ability to troubleshoot these systems
