Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant role focused on routine facility mechanical system maintenance, preventative maintenance, life safety compliance per CMS regulations, and survey readiness. Responsibilities include prioritizing and completing work orders in TELS, maintaining building systems and site, and responding to emergency maintenance needs. Candidates should have hands-on experience with drywall, taping, painting, power tools, and a working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems; NFPA knowledge is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in drywall, taping, painting, and proficient with the use of power tools
- NFPA knowledge and experience preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance is a plus
- Availability to respond to emergency maintenance needs as required
