Job Summary

Notify Maintenance Team Leader, Production Team Leader, or Operator when tasks are completed and tested ready for production. Rotate or assist with other Maintenance Specialists as directed to manage time effectively. Communicate material needs or deficiencies to the Maintenance Supervisor and align repairs with production priorities. Responsible for assigned maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance, and equipment, facility, and property upkeep. Assist with planned changes to minimize operational disruption and support engineering and quality groups in ensuring production equipment reliability. Share knowledge of activities to support the maintenance organization's training efforts and emerging technologies. This 12-month contract-to-hire role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and Shift leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate Degree in Applied Science in Electronic, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Automated Manufacturing or Electrical experience
  • equivalent work experience in a Maintenance Technician role
  • Two (2) years experience in maintenance/manufacturing operations
  • A basic knowledge of machining line systems to include all applicable maintenance disciplines

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Applied Science in Electronic, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Automated Manufacturing or Electrical experience or equivalent work experience in a Maintenance Technician role
  • 4 years' experience
  • A working knowledge of compacting, forging, deflash, double disk grind, shot peen, whitelight inspection, video ink jet, magnetic particle inspection and dip tank operation
  • Allen Bradley, Siemens and or Fanuc system controls expertise
