Maintenance Tech

Operate light and heavy equipment including backhoes, trenchers, and dump trucks to repair roads, drainage systems, and water collection networks. Perform ground maintenance, minor carpentry, painting, and concrete/asphalt work while conducting safety checks on all machinery. Respond to customer complaints, emergency calls, and city functions requiring parade set-up or tear-down. Maintain storm drains, sidewalks, and City parks; clean buildings, vehicles, and shops; and remove debris such as dead animals from roads. Work in inclement weather with heavy physical exertion and may be required for night and weekend on-call rotations.
