Job Summary
Maintenance Tech at Equity LifeStyle Properties (ELS) in Ellenton, FL. Performs varied on-site maintenance duties including HVAC repairs/adjustments, plumbing, light carpentry/construction, appliance repair, groundskeeping, irrigation repairs, and other assigned tasks. Works with Maintenance Supervisor to maintain safe, clean, and appealing property; attends daily meetings; communicates with management and other staff; maintains grounds and common areas; reports maintenance concerns; operates and moves heavy objects; may drive maintenance trucks; monitors inventory; on-call for after-hours emergencies. Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of direct technical experience in HVAC/plumbing/carpentry/irrigation; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance; willingness to be on call.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of direct technical work experience in applicable areas, including irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance
- Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours
