Job Summary
Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload trucks, moving raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility. Maintain organized inventory and storage areas while performing daily forklift inspections and reporting maintenance concerns. Work closely with Production, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to support schedules, following all safety policies and maintaining accurate material movement records. This full-time role involves both indoor and outdoor work in a manufacturing environment, requiring comfort with varying weather conditions and extended periods of standing or walking. Forklift certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- An experienced forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Safety-focused with an excellent work ethic
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Reliable with excellent attendance—dependability is essential for this position
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- A team player with strong communication skills
- Able to adapt to changing production priorities
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification is preferred
