Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for inspecting and repairing electrical, heating, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other systems; perform preventative maintenance, respond to work orders, coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure equipment in guest rooms functions properly, and assist with staffing coverage. Reports to the Chief Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor and adheres to health and safety standards and company policies; requires a high school diploma or equivalent with two years of related experience, and a broad skill set including electrical, hydraulic, carpentry, painting, drywall, and problem-solving abilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
- General knowledge of maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Good problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Significant attention to detail
