Job Summary
Survey the building and repair mechanical, electrical, heating, and plumbing systems to ensure they meet health and safety standards. Execute preventative maintenance programs for common areas and guest rooms, resolving work orders and complaints while performing manual repairs on locks, windows, and fixtures. Conduct general upkeep procedures including landscaping, caulking, and painting, utilizing carpentry, drywall, and carpet repair skills. Inspect property to identify potential and current needs, collaborating with Housekeeping to verify room equipment functionality. Maintain operational functionality across all systems while adhering to company policies and working flexible shifts as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the above skills, knowledge, or abilities
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
- General knowledge of maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Good problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Significant attention to detail
- Flexible schedule that can work any shifts
- Ability to work autonomously and responsibly
