Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for plant equipment. Diagnose issues, perform adjustments, and install, modify, or rebuild machinery and production equipment. Conduct general building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, welding, and electrical work while reading blueprints and technical manuals. Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, and facility equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Assist with upgrades, process improvements, and routine inspections while maintaining a clean work area and following all safety procedures. 2–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred; welding and forklift certification are assets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the year
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds when required
Desired Qualifications
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Welding and fabrication experience
