Job Summary
Maintain plant and building systems and execute preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. Ensure equipment, tools, and spare parts are accounted for, manage tool control and inventory, and support daily maintenance workload. Participate in organizing and performing routine and preventive maintenance to optimize production, while ensuring safety and adherence to company policies. Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing the Preventative Maintenance program and in training crew members. Work a rotating 5:30pm–5:30am shift in an expansive refrigerated warehouse, contributing to a safe, efficient maintenance operation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous related work experience required
- Thorough understanding of plant maintenance and general building maintenance (electrical, carpentry, plumbing)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to cover vacations for maintenance crew members as needed
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs
