Job Summary
Maintenance Tech (B Shift) responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment across the plastics facility; duties include visually inspecting equipment, listening for abnormal sounds, dismantling and repairing machines, cleaning and lubricating parts, installing electrical components, laying out and maintaining hydraulic/pneumatic systems, repairing facility structures, installing/repairing automated machinery and robots, operating machine tools, welding, fabricating, and completing special assignments; reviews work orders, performs preventative maintenance, and operates forklifts/scissor lifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Software knowledge, Work Order software, OINSIGHT preferred; Ability to learn new software as needed.
