Job Summary
Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure optimal efficiency while overseeing repair of equipment, machinery, and systems. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and install new HVAC systems and components according to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, HVAC, low voltage, plumbing, and refrigeration units. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand system designs, conduct inspections to identify issues or potential improvements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate documentation records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management, while providing exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven maintenance experience
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Extensive HVAC experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems
- Experience in property maintenance with a focus on heating and cooling systems
- Ability to design efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs
- Familiarity with electrical systems, refrigeration techniques, boiler operations, low voltage, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills as a service technician, capable of diagnosing issues quickly
- Strong communication skills for effective and positive interaction with clients and team members
- EPA License
- Ability to Commute Charleston, SC 29407
