Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep of the property, including replacing burned-out bulbs and batteries in emergency lighting, completing work orders, performing final inspections of units turned over for leasing, and monitoring property conditions to report or correct unsafe conditions; supports Property Manager and participates in standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage; HVAC certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Full time janitorial/maintenance experience
- HVAC certification preferred
- Ability to participate in a standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
- Maintain open lines of communication with internal and external contacts
- Perform activities to maintain the continuity of essential environmental services
- Conduct building walk-downs daily and replace bulbs in hallways, stairwells and batteries in emergency lighting
- Complete assigned work orders according to company guidelines
- Complete final inspection of all units turned over for leasing
