Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on production machines, including motors, conveyor systems, and transmission systems. Install new equipment, fabricate repair parts, and adjust mechanical components using hand and machine tools. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns by reading blueprints and interpreting schematics. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work while communicating with the production team. Ensure a clean work area and follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions
- Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and hand tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations
- Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
