Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for completing service requests related to repairs across heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring and other general repairs, ensuring work is professional and cleaned up after residents’ homes. They prepare open apartments for rental within 24 to 72 hours, coordinate work as needed, participate in ongoing training to maintain skills, and build long-term relationships with residents by addressing requests and concerns. The role requires a High School degree or GED (or equivalent), 1-2 years of related maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and strong attention to detail with good communication and teamwork to deliver customer-focused service.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree, GED or equivalent
- 1-2 years related maintenance experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for past 3 years
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Experience with heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, HVAC
